The registered office of a company or LLP is the principle place of business and all official correspondence from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs is sent to the mentioned location. Change of Registered office within the state can be done by obtaining approval from Board of Directors of the Company and by giving a notice to the concerned Registrar within 15 days after the change. Change of registered office from one state to another can be done by obtaining prior approval from Shareholders of the Company and then receiving a confirmation from Central Government.
ROC must be notified of the change in Registered Office by filing the appropriate documents within 15 Working days of change of Registered Office premises
